174. Don't Let a Bad Day Become a Bad Life

In this episode we’re discussing what it looks like to live in a constant state of reaction... and how we can actually shift that to choose how we show up instead.

Are you living your life, or are you just reacting to it?

In today’s episode, we’re talking about a concept that completely shifted the way I look at how we show up in our lives: are you a thermometer or a thermostat?

It might sound a little strange at first, but I promise you, this one is worth paying attention to. Because the way we respond to the things happening around us has a much bigger impact on our lives than we might realize.

So often we allow the people around us, the circumstances we find ourselves in, and the things that don’t go according to plan to dictate how we feel and how we move through our days. But what if there was another way?

In this episode, I’m diving into what it actually looks like to stop living in a constant state of reaction, how healing plays a role in the way we show up, and what it means to take back control of the life we’re creating.

Let’s dive in, shall we?
